On January 6 — otherwise known as 12th Night — I launched a Substack newsletter called Historiola! As I explained there, it’s a history newsletter that looks at food, magic, art, writing, fashion, and other assorted topics, mostly in New Orleans. Sometimes there will be posts about St. Louis (where we’ll be about once a month) and Salt Lake (my hometown, where I spend some time, too). There are two more posts going live this week, on Wednesday and Friday. In the next few weeks I’m hoping to keep up a Monday/Wednesday/Friday schedule. Stay tuned.
